This is my own project here in Costa Rica: we spent the early part of 2022 planting native trees, plants and flowering species as the first rains arrived, and over time hope to build a raised modular cabin-style home connected by wooden decking, working around the vegetation and existing trees (many are the protected Pau d’Arco trees, hence the name of ‘Casa Pau’). The project is to be planned and executed in stages - at least two, possibly three or four, budget depending - thus allowing for a liveable home at the end of each stage.
