old kent road pub

for about 6 months I consulted on the interiors in the renovation of The Thomas a Becket pub, Old Kent Road.  The pub sits on an ancient 'watering hole' dating back to Chaucer's time.  This was a particularly creative brief, pulling together artists, designers and tradesman from all over the UK, and showcasing a variety of wallart, from a recovered antique Victorian wallpaper pulled out of the vaults of one the UK’s most prestigious print houses; a mosaic wall made entirely of vintage fashion magazines and esoteric picture books, to a 15ft photograph I took of Burgess Park over the road
